Kenneth Barclay

Kenneth Barclay was appointed General Manager, Captain Asset from 1 January 2024 and prior to that held the position of Captain Asset Manager and Captain EOR Project Manager. Mr Barclay has over 23 years’ experience in upstream oil and gas. Prior to joining the Company, Mr Barclay worked for 6 years with Repsol Sinopec Resources as a Field Manager responsible for the safe operation of the Fulmar, Auk and Clyde offshore oil and gas installations and also as Commissioning and Start-up Manager for the Montrose and Arbroath Bridge Link Platform Project. Prior to that, Mr Barclay spent 13 years working at ConocoPhillips where he held supervisory and management roles offshore up to and including Offshore Installation Manager and also onshore roles such as Jasmine Field Start-up Manager, Technical Authority Engineering Supervisor for the Central North Sea and Production Delivery Supervisor for Central North Sea operations. Mr Barclay holds a BSc(Eng)(Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and is also a Chartered Engineer.
