Ongoing development

Ithaca Equity: 50%

The Tobermory development, operated by Adura, lies within Block 214/4a within the Sissal Basin, West of Shetland. The discovery is located approximately 105km north of the Victory Field and 160 km north of the Shetland Islands, water depth is around 1,620m LAT making Tobermory the UK's deepest water development and longest subsea tieback.

The development of Tobermory will provide a new subsea pipeline and links what will be the UK's most northerly production hub with Shetland. This new infrastructure will also provide an export route for further potential within this under explored part of the UKCS. Gas from Tobermory will flow via Adura's Victory Field and eventually on to be processed onshore at the Shetland Gas Plant (SGP). Together with Tornado - Tobermory and other West of Shetland fields will provide a key component of the UK's future domestic gas production, delivering energy security with an exceptionally low carbon footprint.
